How Hot is Too Hot?
I have been considering getting one of those oil temp guage caps for my 07', however there is no reference I can find anywhere as to what the normal range of oil temperatures are, and what constitutes an overheat condition that might warrant shutting it off and letting it cool. I hear of owners saying runs cooler or hotter with XYZ, however without a frame of reference of normal, this is just more bling.....
Also curious what tire pressures most of you use - the book 30/36 or something higher?

Harley Davidson says 230 degrees is normal operating temperature for the Sportster engine.
Pressure: 30-front 40-rear
