New Cams Vs. Carb. Jets
i replaced my stock P cams with some andrews Y grinds.
now my bike is a lil peppier than before
BUT it's still lacking.
could i need to up my main jet, and my thunder jet jet.
the carb is a super E
i also have some really short pipes that have the lollipop mod.
changing pipes is not an option.
pic of the pipes.

Sweet ass tubes! Is their any leg interference? As for your Q about the jets, sorry, just using the S&S alone.

Sorry with those pipes it will always be lacking, they look cool as hell but but performance will suffer and tuning will be very difficult. You should read jetting 101 on here and follow it untill you get it close then get a dyno run with an AFR chart to check it.

The only way to know if bigger jets will help is to run scientific tests. With the current jets, are there specific signs that they are either too lean or too rich? One way to answer this is to do chop tests at various throttle openings, and check the plug condition each time. Also look for signs such as carbon buildup at the back of the bike, pinging, etc.
Ya, best to check out the jetting 101 as already suggested.

he told me to get rid of my Badass pipes i made.
my plugs are on the lite beige color so i need to up the main jet size a lil right now i have an .76 in it.
i'm looking at the paugho up sweep drag pipes.

Your friend is a smart fella. Someone else had the same advice here too. Try 1.75" drags starting @ 40" long. Those you can tune. Those you can ride. That engine looks great, by the way. Nice build.
