Default Dual Brembo install on nightster (pics!)

I finally got around to taking some pics of the dual vrod brembos i installed on my bike. First I need to thank everyone on this forum who figured this stuff out and especially screw loose dan who covers the install nicely here: http://xlforum.net/forums/s...ghlight=brembo
These brakes are fantastic compared to the stock single disc. Much better feel and far more stopping power. The install was actually pretty easy, drilling and tapping the hub was the only part that made me a little nervous, but I have a few hundred miles on the setup now and am loving it.
The other nice thing about this was that I took my time and ebayed everything for really cheap:
Calipers - $80
Rotors - $75
Brake Line - $30
Fork Sliders - $40
Master Cylinder and Lever - $40
Turn Signal Relocation - $20
Okay here's a bunch of pics!!

SWEET!!! It's a world of difference isn't it?

Did you paint the calipers or does Harley have them like that now? If they are Harley PN's, let me know as I'd like to add it to my notes.

I have to say, I'm not sure I personally would have been brave enough to drill/tap the wheel. I understand it's not difficult in theory...I guess the critical part was making sure you had everything centered and true. Did you do this by hand? How did you ensure everything was true?

Looks good! Welcome to the club.

Sorry, I have no idea about the part number, I picked them up from a private party on ebay who only said that they were from a Screamin' Eagle edition Harley

I just put the rotor on the hub, marked the center of each hole with a punch and drilled away with a hand drill. Not really the smartest way to do it I'll admit because it leaves more room for error, but hey, it worked great so what can I say, haha. Thanks again btw, for putting this in my head.

I would really like to get braided lines when I can, but the lines were one of the last things I needed so when I saw those for cheap, I grabbed them so I could at least get everything installed.

I used the vrod MC
