That's a hell of lot of fine looking old Sportsters! As soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I'll do so.
Why was easier for me to get my 44 year old bike running well that it is to post pictures? Do I need a certain number of posts before posting attachments?

Yes it is. Its the kit to reattach the crappy pot metal tail light studs and the stamped speed nut when they fail. BR549-77

you need photo bucket or similar - upload pic to their site, click the large version of the pic and look for "img" code, copy img code (highlight it and control c) then paste the img code into the body of text where you are typing and you should be good. ignore the post count mumbojumbo...

Lets try this picture thing again...
My 71 XLCH. I got it last year at a garage sale. The seller had it since 73 but it sat for many years. I couldn't get it to run and start reliably with the Tillitson so it sat in my garage for a while to. I recently change over to a Bendix and its running great.
