Santa brought me that last year. It does seem pretty good. Will be trying it out over the holidays this year as I have a new primary chain to fit. Have some reading to do first as it'll be the first time for me

I used my kit earlier this year, and I was happy with the way everything worked. It was worth the money to me.

Special tools
I think TheDoctor71 made one of these, but the pics are missing and it’s back before the Photobucket fiasco.
Took a socket (ID larger than the sliding top hat spacer) and hogged out most of the teeth. Have a box of junk sockets for such purposes.
Cut some slots and made some little ears.
Cut a stepped bar in the lathe to fit the bearings. The big end got pressed into the socket. The step sits 3/16” below the business end of the socket.
Held it together with a hose clamp for welding.
I am not good at tig welding, but trying to use it for everything so I get better, unless I know I can do it better with a different machine.
Anyway, it seems to work.

Lifter holder remover "Special Tool".
Many will recognize this as an automotive battery terminal puller.
Remove the pushrod adjuster leave the cam in and push on the lifter.
