Thanks. I got the bags from Himalayaleather.com. They're mounted at four spots each(removed the yoke). Top rear to the fender strut with a small nylon quick release dog collar, top front around the top shock mount with zip tie. Bottom rear around the bottom shock mount(zip tie), and bottom front to the swing arm(dog collar). Without using bag mounting brackets you basically have to get creative. The bags are pretty snug to the bike with this setup. Good luck finding your bags, there are plenty out there.

What type of windshield is on your bike. I can't tell from the picture, is it a quick release set up? Some of use like practical things for our bikes. Of course we ride them! Anyway, nice ride.

Any low profile windsheilds? I don't like those long fingernail like kind. I do like the bags alot. Tell me something, how long does it take to figure out how to install saddle bags of that sort.

I don't particularly like the look of the windshield either, and only put it on for longer highway rides. It does make those long rides more comfortable, enjoyable, and safer. It's the Memphis Shades Rio Grande quick release shield. Search the forum, there are plenty of threads with info and pics of low profile shields.

As for the bags, first find the size and look you like. Put 'em up against your bike and see where the best mounting points might be. I removed the yoke completely that would go over the fender. I first used heavy leather laces to fasten mine to my mounting points but chose to find other more reusable straps after the first time I had to cut the laces to remove the bags. So, to answer your question, it probably took a couple of beers and a shot of whiskey's time to come up with the solution for my bike. Like I said a couple of posts prior, you have to be a little creative. From the looks of your bike, that shouldn't be a problem for you.(Nice scoot)
