Justin, I didn't know that the tach would flash like that when you hit redline...I rarely do, so that's probably why I didn't notice. At what RPM is it set to flash?

5700 RPM just before the redline.

What about those of us that have our ignition modules set for 6800-7000?

Is there any way to re-program the flash?

Jimmy,
There is no way to reprogram the flash once final assembly has happened. I can do custom Redline settings but I charge alittle extra for the custom programming. I have considered removing the Redline flash as a standard order; but haven't done that yet.

BTW as you can see from the video, the display still works the numbers just flash, so it will continue to work past 6000.

Thanks,

Justin

That's sweet but I think I'd wreck with it mounted off to the side like that.

2000 miles later I haven't wrecked yet with mine mounted in the same location.

What do you mean. How's it in danger there?

My buddy wants one of these and I want to buy it for him. He's a plumber and has done a ton of work for me without charging me. He has a 05 Dyna, I believe. He emailed you for info. Perhaps we could go offline and I could tell you his name. He needs one either with no redline or 6200 redline. Does he need anything other than the $149 device? Does he need any adapters? How do you specify no redline in Paypal?

I mounted mine on the handlebar clamp....

Right below my speedo so I can see it just fine by glancing down...

He just needs the 2004+ digital microTach+. No adapters required.

You can add a not when you check out for no redline, or I'll remember.
