Looking at the JP catalog, they have 40000330 crankcase breather listed. Has anyone tried using this with the SE aircleaner? I'm think that if I trim the mounting ears off the backing plate, it should work.

JohnS 23rd December 2004, 03:31 Check out the thread "Which Screamin Eagle Intake?" by 883Hugger. There was quite a bit of discussion about venting the breather gas into the carb. I, for one, think it is better than venting it to atmosphere. May all your Christmas wishes be chrome! John Moved On 23rd December 2004, 03:51 I think you got one too many zeros in that part number... should be 4000330? http://www.jpcycles.com/ProductDetail.aspx?PID=4000330&cs=Harley I should be getting one like that from DragSpecialities any day now :D Gary dwardy 23rd December 2004, 04:03 I have that breather with my SE air cleaner. It works just fine but you need to modify the brackets that come with it AND get bigger bolts. JohnS 23rd December 2004, 20:04 Look what Turbota did with his bike. He has one of the nicest (and cleanest) looking bikes I have seen. This is a real nice looking setup! http://www.xlforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=313 gamhill 23rd December 2004, 22:18 Yes, 4000330 is the part number I'm looking at. Gary - are you planning on using this with the SE airfilter? Moved On 24th December 2004, 01:51 I'm getting p/n 2110-0316 from Drag Specialties ($29.95). It looks like it could be the same part. I haven't picked it up yet, it should be sitting behind the shelf at my local indie shop. It was backordered and supposed to come in on Dec 17, but I haven't bothered to check with them yet. Gary |
