I have a electrical problem with my 2000 1200 custom the motor will turn over but not run it has no fire to the coil.the signal lights dont work,when you turn the high beam on it wont turn over, both the turn signal indicators in the dash come on.i have checked all the ground wires over and over and cant find anything wrong.im open to any ideas.i tried a new battery and that did the same. thanks for the replies keep them coming maybe we can figure this thing out
I found the problem it was a pair of ground wires located behind the rear brake line that had broken.Thanks everone,Roach

a bad battery would be a good suspect

I have had the same problem once to and indead it turned out to be a bad battery.
Especially with colder weather batteries tend to go bad
