Does anyone know a source for plain chrome air cleaner inserts ? I'd like to have a custom design engraved on an insert, just a way to personalize the bike, but have only been able to locate the usual design inserts.
I am also interested in engravers you've worked with (I am already talking with Sanjoy)... Just a Christmas pipe dream...

im in the same boat as you shark doctor i have been trying to find custom covers for the air cleaner, inspection cover, derby cover, points cover. have been thinking about engraving as well. have also been thinking about painting. want to have the center of the air cleaner painted the color of my tank with the tribal on it like my tank has on it and leave the outer ring chrome. i think that would look cool. also would like to do the same for the covers but i have never seen anyone paint their covers so i am curious if it could be done. wonder if it gets to hot for it to be done.

Have sent my ham can off for custom engraving. I was impressed by the work I saw and the prices were okay (little bit more than I wanted to pay). Also do some stuff I've only heard about but haven't seen in person ("chromefusion")...

that's some nice work they did. i will have to drop them an email and see what they say about cost for what i want done. I emailed that e.c.e website that hero posted and they told me that they could only do the air cleaner right now for about $100.00 but i would have to trace my cover that i have on there now and draw the exact design i want and send it to them and they told me it may be more depending on how complicated my design is. they told me they don't carry derby covers yet and the points cover would not be worth doing and they don't carry the other covers either.
