I was wondering if any one could take the time to tell me a little more about the KC Sportster Rally, what's there to do and have you had a good time at past events. I just came accross the other threads and wanted to know if I should go.
Thanks

I've been to 3 of them and always had a good time.
Tour the HD factory, go for some nice rides and BS with a bunch of good people.

Just pray that this year is dryer and cooler than last year. I thought I was going to die in that heat and humidity at last years event!!!

i have this marked on the calender, i live outside kc and have a nice big shaded back yard if anyone needs a place to pitch a tent. Dan, just be glad you can breathe down here, last time i was in co i felt like i was trying to suck air through a straw.

Well Dan, maybe I should sponsor one up here in Dubois.
The original town name was 'Never Sweat'.
Nice KOA here with plenty of grass, motels, restaurants and bars all walking
distance. I know a few people that would roast a pig for us.

Is there camping allowed at the rally? I might be down to run over to KC for a day to hang out with everybody, and spend the night. Woodie, are you going to head over to KC in June? Maybe we can ride over there together.

Not sure yet, have to see about my schedule when it gets a little closer, but I'm up for it, probably head home at night though. I'll keep you posted

I'm cool with running over there in the morning and then coming home that evening. Keep me informed.

Noticed this is during the rally, perhaps it could be included? I am not sure if I could make the rally or this ride, but thought I would mention it. Hopefully I can make it and meet some of you!

Folks are already on their way from across the country to the 9th Annual Kansas City Run. We're meeting at Basswood RV Resort just up the road from the Factory.
Stop by and meet some of the best folks on Earth.
Updates from the rally tomorrow.
