I didn't know where to put this question so I thought I would start here. Does anyone have the new Licks helmet?? if you do, do you like it?

Are you talking about Biltwell Helmets?

I have two of the first gen helmets and except for not being DOT, they are very nice, feel and fit good and are well built.

Are you talking about Giraffe helmets? I'm more fond of hippos, but I suppose the Giraffe fits the bill too.

Waiting to see what people say about the new Licks helmet myself.I'm wondering if they fit any lower than the other DOTs out with the same style.

Yea, I'm wanting a new lid, so I guess I'll have to wait to check them out...as for the giraffe...wow, not much else to say! :doh

Thanks GlenB for the link. I just looked at them. Nice. I'll be getting one soon.


I'll post when I get it on how it fits. Looking for something with the fit of their earlier gen1 Biltwell 3/4 helmets. Nice and close to your head and not the bubble look.

I know this is an old thread, however, just received the NovDot across the pond in Japan right before 2013. Ordered the grey matte one. All I can say about it is this thing is freakin sweet. Wish these things were out 10 years ago. Never owned a 3/4 before, just half helmets ranging from Daytona, HD, ACC & a few Shoei full faces. This one though, is the most comfortable one I've worn to date & don't plan on wearing the skid lids anymore. Craftsmanship is 11 out of 10 & AJ & crew is a pleasure doing business with.
