My local Steeler just informed me my Vance & Heins straight shot slip-ons are in. I will be doing the whole stage-1 on Aug 11, and will post pics when complete. I will also try posting audio of the sound for those interested.

Awesome! I might want to get me some of those. I just love the look of them. Still on the fence though cuz I'd hate to lose the sweet sound of my khromeys. :)

I look forward to hearing how you like them and how they sound. I saw that Vance and Hines also has a quiet baffle for sale in addition to the standard baffle. Thanks :tour

I'am gonna try the pipes without the qiuet baffle.

Thanks Xena, I think it was you who turned me on to the V&H slip-ons. I hope the perform like I think they going to.

Melanie, your buddy has the new Vance & Hines slip-ons, or the full pipes? Just curious because the slip ons are a brand new product and have just recently been released according to all I have read.

Love to see those pics, I'm leaning toward the Pythons myself but V&H makes some nice pipes.

I done the Vance & Hines straight shots slip ons yesterday and oh my god it now sounds like a real harley. I ordered the jet kit from sorgy'd off of ebay. I replaced the 180 main jet with the 185 that he sent and the 43 (I think) with the 45. I made no other adjustments on the carb and it seems to be running fine. I will check the accel plugs that I got from sorgy also in a few days and see what they look like. I used the se air cleaner kit but would really like to find a k&n replacement filter for the se filter. Life is good when taxes are paid.

I installed mine last week. No rejet yet, waiting until I purchase my Hurricane Flow and install that. So far the V&H are AMAZING. I think I lost a little bottom end, but can definately feel more top.

I just installed my V&H Slipons and WOW !! What a great sound, And a noticable increase in performance as well, Just an Idle mixture adjustment on mine. An Air cleaner change would likely require a slow jet change, Thats if I change the A/C at all. I have the snorkle can A/C and may just replace the element with a K & N Filter,
If you have been running the factory "Honda" mufflers you are going to love them slipons dude !!!!!

I got the Straightshot slip ons and they rock! The sound is good with the normal baffles (not the quiets) in fact, I have to take it easy on the throttle in my subdivision so I don't upset the 4 stateys who live here.

I think they look good too. I just couldn't see forking out an extra $200 to get the headers and I wanted to keep the cross-over.

The fit is real good too, they go over the headers.
