I really need to take a minute to thank the good people on this site i have had my air cleaner for a while now and today went to the stealer (although i swear i didn’t want to) and got screamin eagle slip ons. i couldn’t wait anymore to find cycle shacks. Anyway i rejetted 45 / 190 myself after reading and rereading jetting 101 and several other post, i would be so pissed if i paid someone to do it then found out how easy it was. :doh took it out and man-o-man :tour its a different bike the sound is awesome and the speed is amazing. Before i would take it to 95 but it was a push to get there and the bike was vibrating bad after cruising at several different speeds (jetting 101) i was satisfied with the jets took it on the highway 100 just past the ramp getting on and smooth as silk had more in it but didn’t push my luck.
Thanks to all that responded to my dumb questions and for all the tech info you’ve posted here. TC

Hey TC it's what we're all here for. No thanks need as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure we've all learned something from someone on this forum at one time or another. Even Stevo!!! ;)

I hear ya dude!

The money I saved on doing Stage 1 myself rather than getting the stealer to do it more than paid for the premium membership here to help support this great site. Plus, there was plenty left over for more 'goodies' !

The XL Forum truly does ROCK!
