I did notice Bert put a cool XLForum logo on the pics! Anyone else haveing this problem now? raysheen 3rd August 2005, 02:58 can you post an example with the code you used? I'll see what I can do Turbota 3rd August 2005, 02:59 I can't see anything wrong with posting photos on this board: http://usera.imagecave.com/Turbota/DSCN0390.JPG http://usera.imagecave.com/Turbota/DSCN0388.JPG Grizzly 3rd August 2005, 03:00 http://xlforum.net/photopost/watermark.php?file=2844&size=1 like that........ raysheen 3rd August 2005, 03:03 ahh I see you are trying to link directly from the gallery? you need an actual image name for the inline img tag to work...since the watermark module has been added I'm not sure how to do it off the top of my head...let me take a look raysheen 3rd August 2005, 03:05 a quick fix http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/DSC00668.JPG is to copy the image location from the "send photo as e-card" link...sort of a hack, but I'm not familiar enough with the new changes that Bert made yet Grizzly 3rd August 2005, 03:06 I figured the watermark had somthing to do with it. That is theonly wayI have everposted pics so........ The water mark looks pretty cool though! Grizzly 3rd August 2005, 03:08 where is that link? Liam 3rd August 2005, 04:16 I had trouble also and I found that if you open the picture in your gallery that you want, right click it and select "properties". Go to where is says the url address, right click and drag over it backwards to select it. then press "control c" (copy). Then, in your post, after [IMG], press "control v" (paste), and the link will be correct! This also protects your photos from being copied and used without your permission. The watermark at this time is too big and obtrusive and $natch is gonna make it smaller and mor transparent for me today (hopefully). SportsterBart 3rd August 2005, 07:30 Uh, Bert... Who is "$natch"? :laugh Bart bplinson 3rd August 2005, 07:36 My son...his member name here is $natch. SportsterBart 3rd August 2005, 07:37 Ah, okay! :laugh :banana :laugh Bart Grizzly 4th August 2005, 02:43 Still cant get it to work :doh gronk62 4th August 2005, 11:22 Try this.. This is the thumbnails address in the gallery.. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/thumbs/Gronko.jpg which gives this size pic.. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/thumbs/Gronko.jpg I can replace the word "thumbs" in the address with "medium".. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/Gronko.jpg Which gives this pic size.. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/Gronko.jpg And to make it a full size pic I just remove the "thumbs" or "medium".. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/Gronko.jpg And it becomes a full size pic.. http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/Gronko.jpg ...sick of lookin' at my ugly mug yet? :roflblack Grizzly 4th August 2005, 15:08 http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/DSC00669.JPG http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/thumbs/DSC00669.JPG Thanks Gronk mordak 4th August 2005, 16:18 I can't see anything wrong with posting photos on this board: <SNIP> http://usera.imagecave.com/Turbota/DSCN0388.JPG DAMN!!! But I dance even worse than he does :banana phantom 21st August 2005, 01:22 I posted 3 new pictures to my gallery and all I get now is a very tiny square in the center. If I look at other members pixs I get the same tiny square.Help me please,What did I do wrong? Shark Doctor 21st August 2005, 02:11 Phantom- Try this (as Gronk suggested previously, but this time, with your pix to better illustrate). I clicked on one of your thumbnails, and then, while keeping the arrow over the thumbnail, right clicked and then highlighted "Properties" at the bottom of the drop down box. You'll then notice that another box appears with the actual address of the picture. In your case it looks like this: (I have deleted the http from the link so I could show you the code better) //xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/thumbs/new_pix_001.jpg Now, to get that to display in a post, click on the little image icon (with mountains), then paste that link in the box that appears. Result: your picture as a thumbnailm like below: http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/thumbs/new_pix_001.jpg Notice in the pasted link the word "thumbs" ... If you erase thumbs, the link will look like this: //xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/new_pix_001.jpg ... and will appear like this: http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/new_pix_001.jpg NOTE: YOU SHOULD RESIZE YOUR IMAGES. ABOUT 400 PIXELS WIDE GIVES A GOOD SIZE AND DOESN'T SLOW EVERYONE'S MACHINE TO A CRAWL AND SPREAD ACROSS SEVEN MONITORS!!! A quick fix is to replace the word thumbs with medium, as below, and notice how the image size is reduced. //xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/new_pix_001.jpg http://xlforum.net/photopost/data/500/medium/new_pix_001.jpg Hope this helps... and, BTW, NICE RIDE!!! :banana SamIam 22nd August 2005, 00:29 a quick fix is to copy the image location from the "send photo as e-card" link...sort of a hack, but I'm not familiar enough with the new changes that Bert made yet Thanks that did work...I don't know about all these other instructions. :headbang CHOPSTER 24th September 2005, 03:38 test, pic test 123.... Only if the user has a link posted in their signature. Otherwise ya gotta put their user name in the gallery search engine or manually search through the user galleries list.:) Sporting Lad 13th February 2008, 21:09 I posted several pics onto my Gallery the other day. They are all out of order. I want them to tell a story, e.g. 'Step 1, Step 2...' So how can I get them into the proper sequence? 'Click and drag' ain't workin'....:( Mr Jimi 13th February 2008, 21:15 I'm sure there may be an easier way but how about you just start a new album and put them in the way you want them and call it whatever you want Jim :tour tomheck2112 4th July 2008, 23:23 testhttp://http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm391/tomheck2112/bike001.jpg gronk62 5th July 2008, 07:13 testhttp://http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm391/tomheck2112/bike001.jpg http://http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm391/tomheck2112/bike001.jpg You have 2 sets of tags and 2 sets of http:// You only need one of each for it to work. like this..
