I'm new to the game, and as of yet do not have a favourite/despised dealer just yet. The local HD shop is Clare's in Fenwick, which I've heard really polarized reactions about. I think I may have an easier time with them than some, since I bought Shelly (my '97 883Hugger) from one of the people who works there. I walked in one Saturday to ask a few questions, and after a minute or two of talking, the guy at the desk did the whole "Oh! You're the guy who bought :censor 's bike! Why didn't you say so?" thing, so I know I'll at least get a straight deal from him (as well as from the person I bought the bike off of). But I'd like to know what the general consensus is on them.

Another one I'm wondering about is a custom joint called Iron Horse Choppers, up in Smithville (just outside of Beamsville, which is a teeny tiny town for those of you not in the Niagara area). I'd like to do the 88" conversion at some point, but as of yet, I don't have the skill & comfort to hit up the job myself; I'd rather a pro take this one. I know that they do work on other peoples' bikes, but I only know of one person who has had any direct experience with them. Same thing as with Clare's: what's yer opinions?

Additionally, if there are any others in the area that you recommend I either patronize or stay away from, please mention them as well!:dankesaig
