Some of those bikes were better at wheelies than the rider. rofb(rolling on the floor bleeding)

Now that you have seen some idiots do it, Here is how it's done. This kid is from the Minneapolis area. I've seen a few of his shows.

just proves that there are many more hot rod bikes than there are skilled riders.......imagine how many dumb asses would still be out on the street if they didn't crash so much??....

Pete, do not make a habit out of riding on one wheel on your Harley, it breaks fork seals, ask me how I know. Breaks belts too, or CAN.

I noticed 2 things. First the lack of Harley bikes. Good thing.
I also noticed how many fools on bikes with full face helmets and wearing shorts. Idiots.

1. I guess I'm a hypocrite but I'm the dad & I said so would be the best answer for that question.

2. She's too pretty to get her face messed up from an accident, Me on the otherhand...

3. Under 18 requires one in MN. The local cops never bothered me in the neighborhood but it might have been a different story if they saw the same thing with a 3-4 y/o not wearing one.

4. Question for you. Ever had a beer in front of your kids?

5. I'm really bored at work today and put too much thought into a likely rhetorical question.

On the other hand, from the original video, how many of those idiots do you think filed a claim with their insurance companies. Stupid people do stupid things.

Most of them. Lots of people make a claim when they crash during a track day labeled as an advanced riding corse. Just doing thier part to keep the insurance rates from dropping too low.

Takes more than just watching a video to pull off a good clean wheelie...a good wheelie is in the upper most part of one's riding skills,
and clearly most don't even have the skills to wheelie or to pull it off without damaging the bike or your bones from falling or taking a get off..

What ever you do Ride Safe Ride Often..and leave the wheelies alone..:)

you have to admit, that guy who "caught" the bike was pretty cool. This is why I don't have a sport bike anymore, I get to thinking I could do it too. Thank god the Harley is just too much fun to ride on 2 wheels.

On most of those jap bikes, it's no art to ride on one wheel. The art is to keep both wheels on the pavement. But that's an art that most of those riders don't master.

Well I tried my first wheelie on this bike in front of a large crowd of my younger brother's scout troop.
It ended in disaster, me sliding down the gravel:o I'm not sure who was more embarrassed me or my brother or the dog:laugh

So my post was kind of tongue and cheek, no intentional wheelies for me:frownthre

The ones I can remember. One, going to Moms house early morn, some road work not completed yet and almost no traffic.I just put new custom grips on some oil got between the grip and sleeve.Rev her up and pulled up on the bars.Yeah she went up, but here is the funny part, the right grip came off the bars. The grip high in my right hand, pitched the grip got her back down under control, stand down, walk back about 100yds. to get the grip.OK lesson learned don't be stupid and make sure your grip is tight:)

Oh yeah the one.Not so much a wheelie though.1st day in Cali on my way across the ocean to the jungle.Me and my buddy used to race in NC,we came across a couple of guys on these railroad tracs. One wanted to race me on either side of the tracs, well alright.Well I was winning and turned my head to the left to see where he was and as soon as I looked strait again.Bang the front tire hit a very large rock, flat out throttle.Just jeans, flannel shirt and sneakers.Well I don't remember how far flying thru the air like superman but, that slide w/my head and face not good! I did get up though, barely.Stars and canarys going round my head whewwww.Got to the hosp some time later passed out and woke up 4 days later w/broken ribs, kidney damage.permanetly scared.A lesson learned then to-it was not my bike, never rode it before and most of all was--just get out there and enjoy the ride.

I like to watch crash videos to keep me humble on my bike. Most of us wind the bikes up at times and risk our health.
