Hi all. I am new both to this forum as well as to riding :D. I have had my 2007 Firebolt XB12R for about 3 months now and I love it!! That being said though, I am having one heck of a time finding things for my bike. For example, I would like to get a different seat for some added comfort and a lower sitting position as my legs are not quite long enough and so I stand on the balls of my feet when stopped. I have heard of a 'low seat' that would drop me down almost 2 inches, but can't find it anywhere. The only seat I have found so far is on the Corbin website. Most others are for the S model not the R or not for my year of bike which is really frustrating.

The other issue I have had is with luggage. I found some soft side saddlebags that I like and have bought them, but they are angling in at the bottom because I have nothing to support them. I have looked for support brackets, but can't find anything which is, again, frustrating.

I would love to see a list of links (maybe we could even get it stickied) for sites where other Buell owners get their gear from (hopefully stuff that will work with my bike too :shhhh).

Oh yeah, here is a pic of my bike:

Welcome! I believe the low seat is for Lightning and Ulysses models only. I've heard good things about the Buell Select seat, but don't know if it lowers the rider at all...

Yeah I had seen that one as well as the one from Corbin. I guess I should have done more research before I bought the Firebolt lol. Everywhere I have looked so far there are plenty of parts for those bikes, but not so much for mine. Sigh...ah well.
