Just looking at my new 2005 J&P catalog & it shows some new exhausts for the 04/05 sportsters- SANTEE has a 2 1/2 inch SNUB NOSE exhaust system..anyone know about this company or the exhaust? Are the BAFFLES removable? I like these alot but want removable baffles & I was curious as to the quality... :tour

I'm gettin' pissed because manufacturers are coming out with awesome pipes for '04-'05 XL's...what about the million earlier ones still on the road ??? I love them santee pipes!

Santee are pretty good stuff, they make frames mostly, some of the highest quality. As far as the baffles, they say "integral baffles", so I'm guessing they may not be removable.

Is it possible to fit 04 models exhaust on my 00 Sportster? I really like the Santee exhaust, but don't see what makes the 04 models so different from the 03 and earlier models that they require different exhaust than the earlier models.

I ordered a set of the Santee Snub Nose pipes last week and got them in the mail today. I got them on a "buy it now" auction on ebay for $267 (including UPS shipping). The baffles are removeable. They just bolt in. The problem I am having is... they didn't come with any :censor instructions!!!

A bit more pricey :yikes than the Santee's put look similar and actually the first time hearing of them is the Blasters Evo Sporty Headpipes 2 1/4". Link below. Third picture down.

But those Santee's sure look sweet! Makes me want to think twice about getting the V&H's for my bike right now.

My shop put the Santee 2 1/4" Snub nose on TNSportsys Bobber project bike seen else where in this forum. Easy to install, removeable baffles, full length heat shields, nice pipes!! The ones seen on the TNSporty bobber we had black ceramic coated and we cut the heat shields and put 1/2" holes into
