Good choice, but then again I may be a little bit biased

This is the company that makes them. You can get them from just about any aftermarket co. ie. Dennis Kirk, J&P cycles etc.

I bought Progressive 412 Heavy Duty shocks for my Sportster trike over a year ago. One of the bottom side rubber bumpers inside the metal mount was worn/deformed....I must have hit a massive pothole riding two up or something.

I e-mailed Progressive's warranty department through the link on their website. I told them that my shocks were no longer under warranty and asked if I could order a replacement rubber bumper.

They responded that 4 new bumpers were on their way to my home address and should be there within a week. NO CHARGE!

So, not only is the product excellent, they stand behind their product.

The more expensive shocks carry a longer warranty, limited lifetime, whereas the 412's have a one year limited warranty.

I'm really happy with the way I was treated by Progressive!!!

Progressive is a definite improvement over stock. I really don't think they can be beat as far as quality and price (good bang for the buck).

412 shocks...best money I've spent on the Sportster - so far. Those and the Mustang seat you guys raved about. These two purchases have transformed my bike.

are the 430 better shocks than the 412?
is it just the look that changes ?

they look even better in black but you got a nice amount of chrome on your bike and the shox compliment the bike very well. gnarly bike bro!

Yeah i have 1.25 lowering blocks and the shocks are same as stock 11" eye to eye. I did a good amount of riding this weekend and I have to say I am impressed. My seat offers little to no padding so long rides use to be hard but I didn’t have a single problem this weekend. Great improvement, thanks for the complements on the paint, pic’s do it no justice.

while people are talking about prog shocks, what the tallest shocks available that work for a roadster.

i need some serious height to compliment some supertrapp 2-1's because im tired of scraping my pipes and i want to be able to take a tight right turn faster than 35 mph

i am really REALLY into good hard turns
