I got a set of Cody boots (HD brand because I couldn't find another maker who does all-black Cody boots)

For the uninitated, Cody boots have a rough leather patch over the portion of the toe that comes into contact with the shifter, the rest of the boot is smooth leather.

Not my taste but nice boots at a fair price. Check out "bootgodess" on ebay. She carries a large stock at decent prices.

I bought a pair of Milwaukee Boot Camp style. Very comfortable right from the get go. They have what they call Freedom Flex in the sole and they take very little to break them in. I like um!

Got the H-D boots, had to special order them cause of my wide feet. got EE's and still had to use tha stretcher on them for a long time but now they fit and are comfy. My work boots are steel toed and better yet, they're Hytest's and they lace up, best yet work paid for them.

Okay, I know you guys are gonna laugh, but hey, I'm a cheap bastard and these are actually more comfortable than the HD ones that I had. Survivor boots (work boots) from Wal-Mart. They are black leather with speed laces, and waterproof. I have ridden with them for a couple of years now, and they really are comfortable. With proper rain gear, they DO remain dry too. No comparison to Red Wings or the like, but I have been very happy with these. :D

Yes, Red wings, i uses them at work and for riding, they not only last a long time, there American made and they can rebuild them for you.
(It costs like half as much to have them rebuilt.)

Had these since 1996. They were much cheaper back then, but worth it.

Can't say enough about Red Wing's...I just ordered my third pair since 1992. Tough as hell and really comfortable. These are boots that I ordered:

Waterproof is a big + in my book. Click the picture for more. If you haven't tried Red Wing's before my advice is give them a shot. They're well worth the money.

I bought the Cruiserworks Boots a year ago and have been happy with them. Lightweight, comfortable, good traction and good gripping soles. I am still riding in 40 degree weather and have had no problems with the cold. Black with 2 buckles, looks good too. You just have to make sure you get the right size, at the time I purchased them they had a real good return policy. :tour

Click here (http://www.mmleatheronline.com/)to visit my favorite leather goods store, M&M Leather. They also have a link to their eBay store on their website.

Their actual store is close to me, and I've bought a lot of stuff there including boots, chaps, jackets, helmets, and gloves. They sell virtually anything you'd need to wear while riding. They also re-sole boots for a good price.

Their prices are competitive, and the quality of their products is good.

I'm not affiliated with these guys, just a happy customer.

Happy shopping!

I wear Danners everyday but my riding boots are Wescos:D
I get the Danners at the factory for about $100 just 35 miles from home.(nothing more comfortable)
Wescos factory is also close (about 50 miles) and I had my feet measured and got custom fit M/C patrol bike cop boots. They are awesome! but pricey.
Wesco also has a rebuilding program at about 1/2 cost.

I've also had a tall pair of the Highliners for about 10 years now that I'm sending in for a second rebuild.

I picked up a pair of Chippewas last year and they are the best boots I have ever owned. They are made in the USA and are comfortable right out of the box. They come with an 800 number where you can get them
resoled by an authorized Chippewa dealer.

A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Shop around I found mine for $145 with free shipping.

I have a big pair similar to these and find it difficult to shift with the forward controls... Has anyone had this problem? Is there a solution other than going back to less beefy boots cause the Mustang seat puts me too high now.
Thanks,
JJ
