What's the lowest seat you can put on a stock 05 1200 Custom??? I think it might be a LePera Bare Bones LT, but not sure???

I think that is a very low one, but be careful, several people (Gronk for one, I think) have said that it is quite uncomfortable.

The Bare Bones is about 2 1/2 inches lower than my new Mustang, that's for sure. Don't know if it is the lowest, but it felt like it.

I got a bare bones for mine.

I love the looks, and would love the seat a million times more if it was about 4 inches back further. Stupid seat is pushing me forward into the most uncomfortable position imagineable! I'm more comfortable riding on the fender. :(
With the stock seat, I sit farther back than the le pera, and that makes me sad. The seat looks awesome on the bike though!!!

Think I'll have to look into a specialized after market seat.

Corbin gunfighters let you sit back nice and far.

I had a lepera bare bones LT on mine and it sat me slightly lower than the corbin hollywood solo (piece of sh#t) that I have now.
But it also sat me about 2" closer to the bars and I sometimes felt a little cramped. On the corbin I sit back and it feels like a more natural riding position (I'm 5' 10")
The corbin has a seating area of 11" wide and the lepera is only 9 1/2"

Both these seats are lower than the standard seat and if my research is correct then they are the lowest seats available for rubber mount Sporties.

Both of them are very uncomfortable for anything over 30 - 45 mins riding but so far the corbin is proving to be more comfy that the lepera...but both of them are even less comfy than my standard seat.

I think the lepera is the better looking of the 2 and it is WAY better quality than the corbin (anything would be better quality than my corbin  )

If you want some comfort then I'd suggest you consider a Mustang seat. They are a bit chunkier looking but everyone here that has one says how happy they are with the comfort and quality.

Check my gallery for some pics of the lepera on the bike. And pics of the disgusting build quality of the corbin.

That's too bad Gronk. Two seats, and neither any good. That sucks being as you'd think buying an aftermarket seat would make a huge improvement.

I've got an 04R and I have an HD 2up with sportster embosed on each side of the seat. I stand 5'8" and sitting on the seat both feet and flat on the pavement and my knees are slightly bent. Been over a hundred miles and no numb ass. I like my HD after market.
