Dan hosted a few days of customer appreciation so today letsgoride (Jeff), ColoRider (Aaron)& I (Steve) rode up from the Denver area to join decman (Declan) who rode down from Wyoming. Dan & Cil were great hosts, we put a bunch of the bikes on the dyno & outside of Dan's built "883" (1250) my lil R came out on top in hp & torque. Aaron was concerned a little about his so Dan put in a new 45 pilot. Afterwards we went out for lunch, enjoyed hanging out with everybody, rode home, got rained on haha, now drying out.

Here's some pics:

Here's the thread w/results on the dyno pulls. Something we all learned is how the bikes pull higher numbers on the later runs as the motor/oil has warmed up a bit.

Lesson learned: don't let a shop sell you on a performance "improvement package" with only 1 or 2 dyno runs.

Nice!! would have loved to be there, but it's a long haul from here. Would have to make it a "holiday". Maybe next year if Dan decides to do it again.
Will have to watch for the announcement more carefully next year :doh

Looks like a lot of fun up there. I have a 1250 upgrade in mind for when I get some spare cash laying around.

That and SEII slip ons kinda suck. Oh well they came with the bike. I'm going to have to talk with Dan about how to remedy the situation.

I'll bet he has a set of Bub 2 into 1's to sell you. Maybe 2 sets. :)

The 45 pilot feels good. Less hesitation off of idle.

Sorry, meant to say "built 883", duly noted & corrected. Thanks again for a great day.
