I found what they have under the "Motorcycle" section interesting. Like to put some in my bike and see if I notice anything...

Hello I use Royal Purple motorcycle oil, I have used their oil in my cars for years, you can go 12k betwen changes, just change the filter every 4K, I can see in the valve cover of my car and truck and it is spotless, plus it runs cooler and I get better mileage.

I read a little about it and it sure sounds good. Do they sell that stuff in auto parts stores? I don't think i noticed it anywhere. Sounds like it would be slick in the tranny.

I agree... Like to give it a try, but have never seen it. Sounds like they wll give it to service members too.

Picked up some from Napa Auto today. 1oz per qt of oil in both sides. Will post results later.

It sounds pricey, but very interesting. Keep us posted, thanks Ed!

So far, right away I've noticed that she shifts MUCH easier. Not that I had any problem before, but now it's like butter. No big reduction in oil temps, but no clutch slippage either.
I met a mechanic that works for a helicopter tour operation over here. He's the one that turned me on to this stuff. Said they have two generators running side by side out there. When they were new he added the Militec to one and not the other. The militec has been running for over 300k hrs, the other needs work after 100k.

A filter change wont really do anything for you, 12k is more than i would be willing to go in any gasoline engine, but thats just me.
