I don't know if this is what you're looking for but it does find out what the "????????" are on Japanese websites.

自転車 Bicycle!!??

大塚愛 Otsuka love, It is the name of a Japanese singer/actress which would normally appear as 大塚 愛 . Otsuka is the name of a town next to Atsugi air base. http://srd.yahoo.co.jp/IMG/r=6/ig=336x448/id=02f2ef875c27cfd8/fi=medium/l=tm/da=g/tid=MMSI02_03/q=%E5%A4%A7%E5%A1%9A%20%E6%84%9B/*-http://image-search.yahoo.co.jp/detail?p=%E5%A4%A7%E5%A1%9A+%E6%84%9B&search_x=1&fr=top_beta&tid=top_beta&ei=UTF-8&ib=4

さくらんぼ means cherry as in the fruit.
As far as websites are concerned you computer must have the program to display Japanese Kanji. Most translation software will translate it to a word for word meaning for meaning so a lot of the intent or meaning of the word/s are lost. You will get the general idea. Also culture is very much a part of language so it helps to a great deal to have that understanding in order to understand the translation.
