I recently took the Rider's Edge course at the HD of Ocean County dealership. Today was supposed to be the second half of riding and practical riding test. Due to the weather we had to cancel.

Most of the class was able to reschedule for next Saturday, however myself and another student won't be able to make it.

Rather than saying "sorry 'bout your luck" and making us wait until someone dropped out of a future class they went well out of their way to get the two of us in on Tuesday to finish up so we can get our stamp.

The reason that I couldn't reschedule for Saturday is because it's my son's 2nd birthday party. I am active duty Air Force and due to my deployment schedule I have missed many birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and family events. Needless to say when I am home for one it's important to my family and I that I am there.

The dealership staff was sensitive to that and made accommodations to get us through the rest of the class when it was convenient. It wasn't just a matter of bringing us to the dealer to take the class on a different day, they are paying to rent the range for an extra day so we can get it done.

I am extremely impressed with the customer service that I received.

and....

I took my BRC course there, too. Great instructors, nice shop. At the time it was the closest shop to me that did the course. It may still be now that my local(er) shop is closed!
