Harley sold me a new bike in 03/07, I just got a recall notice about the voltage reg. being too close to to front fender and needs set back a little to be safe. Not really a big deal to me except the wording of the notice. It states it is my 2nd notice, worng it was the first I had recieved. The letter contained 2 notices that were the same except one was dated 01/07 so harley sold me a new bike that was already recalled. They were aware when I rode the bike out of the lot when new that it would be comming back to be made safe. Somthing is very wrog with that business practice. Once a prodict is recalled none of the recalled products should be sold until the repairs are made, I do not know if this is a law but it should be.
