Went to the local race track to check rules, regulations,etc. Supposedly a H-D event but there were two fuelers and five H-D's racing. 110 degree heat index. Whew! Tons of rice though. Bikini contest had three women and one was at least a grandma. Oboy! Anyway I watched a bike driven into the track run two 9.01's back to back and lost with a 9.03 on a 9.01 to a bike that ran 12.50 on a 12.50 in third round. He also reeled in a couple of race bikes like they were sitting still in practice. I haven't been to a motorcycle race in a couple of years but I was really impressed with this bike. No wheelie and smooth as silk all the way through. Big superbike event this coming weekend in Maryland I might attend. It appears that Virginia Motorsports Park needs to do a little more homework before putting on a supposedly big H-D bike event. Sponsored by a christian bike group. Could sit anywhere you wanted at anytime. Not many spectators.
