I'm looking for a chrome upright, medium to low in height that will work with the HD detachable sideplates (#53545-95). I'm trying to line something up for my '02 and I'm having trouble locating a med to low that will work with the detachable sideplates for my year. I've seen many for '04 and up.....

Can somebody help point me in the right direction? My 7 year old would be eternally grateful! ;)

Use MOCO parts.
They are not the cheapest but they will fit properly.
I would not go with the low bar. It would be uncomfortable.
Use the medium height one.
That is what I have on my '04.
My kids love it.
