View Full Version : Question on MC gear
MusclePump 26th August 2005, 00:54 I clicked the Oakland HA's link that was posted in the prior thread on patches... I noticed the HA's sell stuff with their logo on it. For those in the know (Loco?), how do other clubs, and even the HA's, take to this? Obviously they don't want you wearing their patches, but it's cool to wear their shirts and hats and all that?
crackers 26th August 2005, 01:09 you cant buy a "patch"
you can buy supporter gear tho.
(not that you would wear it when not travelling/socalising with that club)
cheers

MusclePump 26th August 2005, 01:18 Makes sense. Yeah, I posted before I clicked the "Patches" specific link. It just says something like "Red and White Supporter"

Yeah, it's really cool till a Pagan or Outlaw spots you and brains you with a
tire iron.
Whether these guys are cool or not isn't the issue. About 4 yrs ago on Long Island the HA's threw a fund raiser called the "HELL RAISERS BALL".
30 out of state Pagans showed up and an HA shot and killed a Pagan.
There were lots of middle class guys there with their wives and kids.
Hanging around 1 %'ers is not a place you want to be.

Some clubs can react like Maddog said, just stay away if you don't understand the protocol involved.
GOTWA 26th August 2005, 01:31 Like Crackers said, it's support gear. I see the HA's selling "Support Your Locals" gear hand over fist. People gobble it up.
If you buy it, buy it because you support them and all of what it is. Don't buy it to be cool or think it will gain you any cred with PH's.
Loco 26th August 2005, 17:47 None of the HA's support wear will have thier deathhead logo or the Hells Angels name on it anywhere (members only earned that right). It will either say Big Red Machine, Support Your Local 81 and that's pretty much it. You cannot purchase an actaul MC Patch or name sake.
Support wear used to be nuetral ground in Biker politics (money maker why f--k it up?) but it has become more dangerous to wear the stuff in rival territories now. If you do NOT support a certain club, I would not waer thier support colors. Selling support wear is a money maker for the clubs but recently has become a problem in rival territories.
There was a dude (well known biker) in So. Cal. that got shot up in the parking lot by a rival MC for wearing support wear of thier rivals. Like another said, if in doubt, don't.

Yep, The rival Pagans stormed the place and when the dust cleared, 1 Pagan was shot dead. I know out here on the West Coast, another battle between the red & white and black & white is brewing. The President of the 81 Cave Creek, AZ Chapter was killed outside a local tavern (last year) and was a well liked and respected member of the HA's. In biker politics, club officers were pretty much off limits. Nowadays, it's open season and even encouraged for membership to kill a rivals hierarchy as acceptance.
Crazy shit...

auwrestler197 26th August 2005, 19:31 Isn't the Cave Creek Chapter where Sonny Barger is now? Maybe I need to re-study.?
Loco 26th August 2005, 19:43 Isn't the Cave Creek Chapter where Sonny Barger is now? Maybe I need to re-study.?
Sonny came from the Oakland chapter and became President of Cave Creek. Hoover (I believe) was the Vice President (known officer at Cave Creek) of the Cave Creek chapter and was (ambushed/killed) by a coward outside of a well known bar and grill. Sonny is also the International President no?
