Does anyone comments about Avon tires for '04 1200c sporty's? I have 16,000 on the original. Or other brands.

But i think the avon venom and the metzler me880 are both real good tires for your bike. I just picked up a 2-3" screw in my stock tire with 7200 mi. I ended up ordering a metzler 880 this time but i like both. The metzler is a little cheaper but not much.

A lot of hole shot starts and hard acceleration will wear a tire out in a big hurry. Oh yeah, and so do burn outs!!! ;)

I have 5000 miles on my original Dunlop and it's probably got another 5K to 7.5K left to go. I ride fairly hard and love to accelerate. Not too many burnouts though only once in a great while. I think I'm gonna look at Avon's when it's time. If not Avon's probably Metzelers.

I have Avon Venom Xs on my '00 XLH1200 and I like them so much that I have no desire to try any other brand at this point.
