Gone 6th January 2005, 04:26 I have been wondering the same thing. I see they also make one that has a mounting tab, along with the suction cups. toadster 7th January 2005, 00:38 I have a la pera bare bone LT ,I just ordered an le pera pillion that matches my seat for my bike from j & p so I solved my problem... :tour thesmithiz 7th January 2005, 01:00 I rode next to a Big Dog Ridge Back for around 200 miles one day, they use a suction cup pad and his wife never fell off. I asked them about it and they said it has never even slid since they used it. For what it's worth. toadster 7th January 2005, 01:53 The reason I questioned if they were safe is becuase after reading the add. describing them it said in small print not for passanger use cosmetic only??? thesmithiz 7th January 2005, 01:57 That would concern me! But what the heck if this guys wife can stay on a Ridge Back for 200 miles somethings holding on.........................or maybe it's a plot he has to ummmmmmmmm have her fall off???? toadster 7th January 2005, 02:08 Hey thats cosmetic... ;) rottenralph 7th January 2005, 03:16 If your gal or guy for that matter holds on to you the only thing they can lose is the pad. Known many people who have used one with no problem. I am looking to get one for my bike because I am not going to drill the rear fender for a pillion. pilot 7th January 2005, 03:52 I have one that sticks on on my chopper. You just about can't get that thing off once its on there, I'm happy with it and my Wife hasn't fallen off. :) |
