Hi there, all you people on this forum!

Has anyone out there any experiance of this kit. Can i add touring comfort in a cheeper way?

Is there really any alternative to a Baker kit if someone wants to keep "ridabillity" within town and still wants to add comfort for longer journeys.

Comments! experiences to go please...

Hey Leibniz welcome to the forum.

It might help if we know how your bike is set up. As to the 6 speed it sure isn't cheap but if you have a 883/1200 belt driveyou can change the tranny sprocket to make it easier, if you have a chain drive you can change sprokets, and others. It depends on what you got now.

I've got a 1200S-02 with the usual Screamin' eagle slip-ons and air filter.

I've tuned it at my local Dynojet center and it runs very well indeed, it got a nice flat torque curve. But...

Let me explain what attracts me:
-Throttle response and low end grunt for trips around town.
-Low rpm at cruising speed for longer journeys.

I don't care for high rpms and high horsepower figures.

Therefor I will keep my cams and ignition system. If I replace my exhaust it will only be for the looks, not performance.
I don't like the CV-carb because it lacks the throttle response i prefer. Therefor I will replace it for a newly bought Mikuni HSR42.
