I am looking into getting pullback risers for my bike. I have found several on ebay, but risers listed are for Sportsters up to 1999. Can I use these pullback risers on my 03? Is there a size difference between 99 and 03?

Thanks!

which model do you have? if you have the custom with the cover inbetween the risers you will be exposing a lot of wires if you take that cover off. also remember that getting pullback risers may mean you may have to get extended cables so look into it.

My brother installed 4.5" pullbacks on his. There is no difference between 99 and newer so they will work.

He did have to go inside the headlight and pull some more wiring out which leaves more exposed along the risers, but he has a tool bag wrapped around his risers anyway.

He got his off ebay for about $10 brand new. Now if he could find a different speedo mount

you can go 4.5 without any cables or wires being a problem. i think you can go as tall as 6 inches

Here's a shot of the 2 1/2" pullback risers on my '08 Low. Wires and Clutch were ok but I had to move the throttle cables from in front of the forks to behind them. Brake line was just barely long enough.

those look more like 4 1/2" pullback risers. Measure from the base to the handlebar.

Heck, I don't know. They were advertised as 2.5" risers and that's what it said on the package. They rise about an inch then slant back about 1.5". From the bottom of the bar to where they bolt on the tree is about 3". Quien sabe. I was wrong once before. ;)
