stock hp/tq was around 80/71

After the true open airbox+K&N , remapped computer, remus fuel controller, complete micron exhaust system, my bike made a max of 96hp, 86tq at the wheels. Not bad for bolt ons and drop ins. :banana

The pics are linked from my photobucket account using img tags. They show up fine on my end. Odd.

is 14 to 15 to 1 normal for an injected bike. I know us carby guys shoot for 13 to 1 so what is the skinny on this.

On that run it was a little bit lean, not enough to be problematic though, in my opinion.

Nice ride. I wonder how tall one has to be to ride such a beast. I have been thinking about my (someday) adventure touring bike since someone posted the 5 bikes, one manufacturer each thread. I thought I would have to use a BMW to fill the adventure touring slot, but then looked at the Ulysses. I still haven't posted my reply.

Do you have plans for an off the beaten path journey yet?

glh, my bike has spent time offroad, and on dirt roads. it has also been crashed offroad. thankfully, mud dirt and grass are soft, so there was no damage to the bike at all.

it's not a matter of how tall you are, it's how long your legs are. i wear pants with a 30" inseam, and i'm barely able to touch the ground with my toes. as i've had the bike i've learned ways to keep it stable, some of which work better than others.

Hey Zack, I just might put the Ulysses on my top 5 list. My inseam is between 29 and 30, so I would also be using my toes.

For the year to come I will be making my Sporty into a "barely adventure touring" model, but the future is wide open.

Just to confirm: So does that mean that internally the motor is still stock? Basically, what you have there is the equivalent of a stage 1 (exhaust, intake, and remap)?

yeah, more like a stage1+ i've added a fuel controller as well.
