Earlier today I ordered a seat (standard vintage solo) for my '04 1200R (3.3 gal tank) from Mustang.
I just got a confirmation e-mail from them. They said they were just starting production of that seat, and that it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery!!! Holy crap!
I thought that some of you guys already had this seat on your bikes... How long did it take for you to get yours?

I've had my Mustang Vintage solo (wide) since at least July....

Walked in paid for it and took it home back in Oct.

The seat for the Custom model (4.5 gal tank) is different than the Roadster (3.3 gal tank).

They had them both listed when I got mine...? Sounds like they ran out!!!

It took me a while to get mine, I ordered in in AUG and did not get it until late early NOV. I did get free passanger seat out of it.

when i ordered mine they said 4-6 weeks.
i think it turned up 3 weeks and 5 day later.
you will probably get it sooner, there just covering there bums.

I've had mine one on my 1200R since November so it must be that particular production run.
They are excellent people to do business with in my experience. At least they told you there would be a wait, unlike some places that take your money and just let you wait without saying a word.
