For all you riders looking to add a small bag to your scoot and don't have a windshield and don't want to throw saddle bags on.
This is the answer, installs in about 10-15 minutes. Can throw about any windshield mount bag on it with no problems. Just the right size for sunglasse, cell phone, gloves or just about anything you can squeeze in it for you military packing folks.....
I have mine installed on the lay down plate mount, but it works just as great with the standard mountin fixin's also.

Here's a few pic's of my install.

That's a great Idea!!! :clap :clap :clap
Price seems a bit steep for a piece of steel Though!!! :frownthre
I most likely make one myself and Powder Coat it!!!! :D

It looks neat, but it might have trouble with anything over a couple of pounds.
For the $49 (or less) you can get a license plate bag from H-D that sits on a piece of clear film on the fender and is attached to the license plate bracket. I keep my toolkit in one, and still can have the sport rack above the plate.

That HD bag doesn't work with the laydown license plate kit though, so this does have a purpose.
If you think this is expensive-how about the Motherwell Luggage Rack? Approx $100 for a piece of chromed steel (for 2004 + up).
Geeze!

DJ, got a P/N for that? I'ld like to take a look - haven't seen that item while just browsing around the HD store.

The Quailty is spot on, thick mirror chrome steel. Compare it to the price of HD's Sissy bar, back rest, and a small luggage rack......$$$
Strengh..It doesn't flex, the steel is pretty thick and rigid.
For quick run arounds and Bar hoppin...its the shit..!!
49.95 is a little steep, I would have hoped it was no more than $30.
But it fits the bill.
Just my 2 cents..!!

I also thought about the HD plate bag, but it was only 8", I didn't like the Idea of anything sitting on my paint. And I wasn't sure how well that plastic film would hold up on a hot fender in the Florida sun.
At least with the Bag-it bracket I can use all different size bags. You can even attach the HD plate bag if so inclined.
But to each is own......

No real need for the extra $$ for the bracket. I mounted a windshield bag on my rear seat attaching screw or bolt. I took a dremel and cut off the right angle on the windshield bag mount(Although this is not necessary), put a rubber washer between the seat mount and bag and then used a 1/4 20 bolt to attach it. Similar look to yours but it follows contour of laydown license bracket and fender better. Looks great and very inexpensive.

Here are a couple of quick not so great pics of the bag installed on seat screw without the bracket. Bag is swap meet pickup for next to nothing thats why it looks a little worse for wear and mishapen.
