View Full Version : WORLD'S BEST MC GLASSES
cantolina 1st October 2005, 01:31 Also received my glasses today....I've used both pairs and all I can say is THANK YOU!!!!
The glasses I used previously put a hurtin on my temples.....these glasses are nicely padded right there....NO PAIN...
A+++++, just like the RAM-FLO.....some of the best changes I've ever made...
bobdar 15th October 2005, 15:03 I got mine in the spring. Love 'em. Highly recommended.
jdbostic 15th October 2005, 15:13 Same here..two pair...best glasses in the world at dirt cheap prices!
RedRider 15th October 2005, 16:48 I picked up a couple pairs of these glasses a few months ago.
Like 'em a lot!
Definitely can't beat 'em for the price.

Check it out....GREAT glasses at a GREAT price!
Streak70 18th October 2005, 17:21 I'm going to order a couple of 'em. One dark, for daytime, and another for nighttime. Anybody able to compare the amber vs clear at night?
Barryn37 19th October 2005, 06:39 Have any of you had any problems with them fogging up?. I used my Amber glasses that I just got the last 2 nights, and when I would come to a stop, they would fog up.
JetEngineMech 19th October 2005, 12:26 I got mine recently and they're a great deal. These, and others with the foam gasket will fog easily if the humidity is high. They need airflow to keep from fogging. If I'm going to be at a stop for more than a quick second, I'll just slide them down my nose a bit to let more air in until I get rolling again.
Clark_2510 19th October 2005, 14:57 Does anyone know if they can be made with prescription lenses?

Believe it or not, that can happen with any glasses...
The best way to beat fog is to use an anti-fog cleaner (like Novus) or polish'em with spit....I kid you not....
BonRu 19th October 2005, 15:32 I am really happy with mine. Chuck, my regular glasses hurt my temples really bad too, but these are pretty good. What few times they have hurt a little, I just adjust them a different angle, and no problem. Yes, mine fog too, but as Chuck said spit is the anti-fog (wipe if off before riding though). ;)

I have the dark ones and they fog up when I stop also. But for the price they are not bad.
rx3732 22nd October 2005, 15:11 placed my order...I'll let you know how I like 'em once they get here. Thanks for the heads up!
Streak70 24th October 2005, 14:31 Got mine! Ordered clear and dark A frames on the 18th., received them on the 21st. Wore the dark around all day Sat in the cage, the fit seemed a little tight at first, then seemed to adjust until they were completely comfortable. Rode with them on Sun., the fit with my helmet was great, the seal around my eyes was excellent, too. I am most impressed with the optics, they are extremly clear and distortion free. Easily worth the money.
sportsterwheelies 24th October 2005, 15:20 This is a great sourse for motorcycle eye protection. They have a ton of styles and lens colors and are resonably priced. The company is also owned by good people who I know personally. They really know they're glasses and have a style to fit almost any face. I have dealt with them many times and will no deal with anyone else when it comes to glasses. pm if you want more info or suggestions on a good glass. here is the site. its best to reach them by phone. www.cycleshades.com
tekman 24th October 2005, 15:35 Thanks for the postive comments guys.
Feel free to email me with any questions, or give me a ring on the phone.

well, they arrived in the mail yesterday. My first impression was that they are WAY better quality than what I was expecting for $15 glasses. I went with the black frame/clear lens for times when I ride when it's dark (early morning and evening). I wore them this morning to work (temperature was in the mid to upper 30's) and I was really impressed with the way they kept the wind out. I used to wear my Oakley sunglasses (amber lens') but they didnt help much in keeping the wind/dust/dirt out. The ONLY problem I had was that they would fog up slightly when I would come to a stop but not so bad to where I couldnt see. So each time I stopped, I would pull them down just a little. By the time I got moving again, the fog would clear before I got out of first gear. Overall I'm very impressed. I think I may go w/ a tinted lens now for daytime riding and just use the Oakley's for the truck.

cantolina 25th October 2005, 17:19 I'll tell ya another great thing about these "best motorcycle" glasses....I don't know where he gets the lenses, but they are exceptionally scratch-resistant....
I'm kinda nutty about things like that....I like to be able to see clearly... (go figure!)
These glasses have yet to scratch even the tiniest bit...THAT ALONE impresses me....
tekman 26th October 2005, 22:27 thanks again guys. Like I tell everyone, spread the word! Most of my business is through Word of Mouth, so keep spreading the word!
Also anything that I sell I personally have tested and can vouch for. This isn't my main source of income, so I'm not pushing products because I need to. I like to look at it as "by a Biker for Bikers", because #1 that's what I am, and I started this whole thing to hook up my biker brothers. I can always be reached by email or phone, I have a toll free number if needed, so feel free to email or call with any questions.
thanks!
Sport-Ed 29th October 2005, 01:44 I'll chime in here.
New rider here, and I have been gearin up, while riding my 1st summer. Liked the looks of these glasses... found out about em on Sportster.org.
Originally picked up the clear, as I had sunglasses. Since then, liked em so much ordered the shades and ambers. The ambers are nice for headlight glare... but all lights are yellow...built in caution light?
Nice to hear that they're scratch resistant... haven't tested that aspect yet.
Took my first extended ride bout about a month ago...hwy speeds and no WS... felt good, and block wind well. I agree about the fogging though. I'll have top spit on em soon.... old scuba trick :geek
All in all.... Happy customer here.
Ed
turfpro 29th October 2005, 10:53 I love the glasses, Butt they fog up way to easy when I wear a face mask. Ive used no-fog on them and it doesnt seem to help. :( Every time I stop I have to reach up and take them off, til I go again. Maybe Ill try spitting on them. lol
bplinson 29th October 2005, 11:52 Try toothpaste on the inside.
Barryn37 29th October 2005, 15:48 I must say, I love the glasses... Thanks Tekman...If only we had more people like that
turfpro 3rd November 2005, 04:58 Bert, thanks Ill try that.
I did solve the problem by getting a mask with the nose cut out, and holes for your mouth, so all my breath isnt sent right up to the glasses. They dont fog at all now. Before I had a pull over mask, that had no where for my breath to go except up.

BlueSnBikes 3rd November 2005, 05:05 Received my glasses yesterday. Have yet to put them on in a riding experience, but wore them while in the cage & out on the golf course a bit, tomorrow the half helmet & the new shades. I like 'em so far, will let ya know after the ride tomorrow how we did. Don't expect any problemo's, seem like a solid unit.
Peace,
Darrin
