Transmission swap

Will a complete 5-speed transmission from a late 1990's-2000 XL work in a 1991 XL (Deluxe version with first year 5-speed and first year belt drive)?

Pretty sure the 1991 to 2003 trans were all the same. Someone else know any different? OR was it 1993 to 2003??????

i beleive it was 93-03. :) Ussually have the 5spd logo on the circle on the cams cover. I believe anyhow.
