View Full Version : Hey Bert, lets bring the politics and religion forum back to the active list!!
klown 7th October 2005, 16:04 We have demonstrated that we don't let the discussions get into the other areas of the forum. It's what keeps alot of people coming back to the forum. There's only so many times we can tolerate the same damn questions about jetting, batteries, stage 1 etc... Most of the technical topics have come up numerous times, and the P&R forums are the ones that keep alot of people's interest in the forum. Do us all a favor and bring it back, pretty please?
mordak 7th October 2005, 16:08 Here it is:
Politics & Religion (http://www.xlforum.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=63)
This is where you can discuss Political topics important to you. Please keep the discussion intelligent and remember EVERYONE has their own opinion.
DO NOT LET YOUR DISCUSSIONS HERE BLEED INTO THE OPEN FORUMS!!!
doc 7th October 2005, 16:14 Klown,
You may need to update your user cp to allow you to see that forum. I'm showing that it is still open.
klown 7th October 2005, 16:53 Bert has removed it from the active threads list, since he did that nobody visits the threads. I am asking him to bring the forum back to the active list. I know how to get to it manually.
xena 7th October 2005, 16:59 I just posted to one of the threads in that section because I wanted to see if it shows up in the "new posts" list, which it does. The only time I ever see the "active threads" is when I first open the site. After that I always click the new posts button.
The P&R section is not hidden, it's all in the way you navigate the forums.
bplinson 7th October 2005, 17:35 Well, create a poll and take a vote. I'll go with majority rule on this one.

That may be, but ever since the forum has been removed from the ative threads list nobody has been posting to the forum, (until xena's last post). All I'm asking is that it return to the active list, that way everybody can see it without having to navigate in a special way.
Albie1200 7th October 2005, 17:47 I agree with Klown. Censoring nudity and foul language I can agree with. Censoring a political opinion and such just seems to much like a dictatorship. I am a firm believer in that if you don't like something, don't go there! They don't call America the land of the free for nothing.
cantolina 7th October 2005, 17:49 Bert,
Your position demands appreciation...
Thanx! :)

I voted yes. I think the politics and religion add a little spice the mix. I love talking 'bout Sportster but it is not my only interest.
I learned about Libertarianism here and now I are one!!!
