i am building a bobber out of a 04 fire bolt i own right now. i am wanting to know if the ulysses forks are longer then the ones i have now. the ulysses rides 2.5 inches higher then a fire bolt. i need these longer forks inorder to have as much rack as id like. or does any one know if i can put longer tubes on the ones i have now

sorry no clue, but you should be able to get that info at the dealership, just don't forget your tape measure...

You might want to ask over at BWB (http://www.badweatherbikers.com). I'd think that one of the Ulysses riders might be able to measure their fork length for you so you can compare. Also see if someone with a TT can measure their fork length. Since all three bikes have different ground clearance and fork travel, I think there's a good chance there are two options you can choose from.
One thing: depending on the year of the bike, the fork diameter might differ. For '07, the Buell site lists the Ulysses and Firebolt both at 43mm forks, but for '08, the Ulysses forks are now at 47mm with the redesigned front end, and the Firebolt forks stay at 43mm
