07 1200 problem

I recently purchased an 07 sporty with Vance and Hines pipes. The problem that I am experiencing is that when running at a constant speed 40-60mph it feels like the fuel delivery is fading in and out. I don't think that there is a power commander on this bike since the pipes were installed.

I was wondering, since this is the first fuel injected bike that I have owned, if this could be the reason for the fluctuation in the throttle response.

what gear are you in? You should not be in 5th gear until you are doing at least 65-70 mph with an 04 and up 1200

Thanks for the response. I know about the the gearing but it does it in all the gears at about 1/8 open throttle and up. I know when I put pipes on my son's 883 it didn't want to run right till the Commander was installed. I was just putting this out there to see what direction that I should go.
