RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The singer for Lamb of God, the world-famous, Richmond-based heavy metal band, was arrested this week in Prague in the Czech Republic in connection with the death of a fan two years ago.
Randy Blythe, 41, was detained when Lamb of God went to Prague for their show Thursday night at the Rock Café. He is being investigated for manslaughter for the fatal injury that occurred at their show May 24, 2010 at another venue in Prague, according to Czech news report.
Reportedly, Blythe struck or fought with the fan who had come on stage, and that person later died.
The four-time Grammy-nominated band cancelled Thursday’s show in Prague. There’s no mention on the band’s social sites about the status of Friday’s show in Leipzig, Germany.
Lamb Of God’s publicist, Adrenaline PR, stated to a music publication that Randy was “wrongly accused, lawyers are dealing with it, and we expect him to be fully exonerated.”
Randy’s brother, Mark Blythe, told CBS-6 that he’s awaiting further details and said the charge is “bogus and outrageous and will be dropped immediately.”

BREAKING: Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe appeared in a Prague court Saturday morning where a judge cited flight risk to set bail at $200,000. Reports state that Blythe has been released on the condition that his bail be secured as soon as bank access allows, presumably Monday morning (about 34 hours from now).
Blythe, clad in an Obituary hoodie, was represented at the hearing by legal counsel Vladimir Jablonski. It is reportedthat Jablonski argued that bail was equivalent to Blythe’s yearly salary; Blythe reportedly did not make a statement. Sources suggest that Blythe will return to court, but now must only stay in Prague until Monday.
Saturday morning, Lamb Of God guitarist Willie Adler tweeted the following from Prague: “Today just turned into a FANTASTIC day!!!”
Are we to infer from this that authorities wish to pursue a conviction against Blythe in connection with a concertgoer’s death in 2010, an incident not publicly revealed until Thursday? More to come.

Ah ha, ok. It's actually much simpler than that. It is the number of times I've dropped my bike and which side it was dropped on. C being a high center.

There is video evidence of the fan falling and banging his head...and no one touched him. I think this is all about money and censorship

Yup,he reportedly got on stage 3 times and the 3rd time got past security....I feel bad for the boys family, but Randy is not responsible for the boys death.
Honestly, with a $200,000 bail, he should just book it and not go back.....I don't see the US allowing an extradition
