This thread is being started to provide XLForum members a central point of contact with the other members who are interested in participating in 'Relay for Life' events held by the American Cancer Society across the nation.
My awareness of these events began when I saw a thread that Panther and Bert posted to help raise funds for Panther's son Eli's 'The bELIeve Team', which will be participating in the 'Relay For Life of Oxford' event to be held in Oxford, PA, at Oxford Stadium from 4pm May 16 though 12noon on May 17. This particular event gained special meaning to me because of the opportunity that Paul had extended us on the XLForum to participate in his commitment to engage in this battle.
In the process of watching the progress of the XLForum's effort to assist Panther, I found out that these events are commonly held throughout the country and that many other members were already involved and participating in organized runs to these events as well as fundraising. It seemed natural to me that we have a thread where we could all go to get information on these events and organize our participation. Anyone interested in information on participating in these events please check out the web link below:

The battle against cancer is NOT 'neverending', it simply depends on us all working together to end it.
