has any one bought the chaps off ebay from National leather?
How are they? what did you pay for them? and are they worth it?
they look pretty good. doesn't say anything about being lined though.
think I might like to try wearing some but don't want to spend a 100 bucks in case I don't like wearing chaps.
How do you keep your legs warm in the mornings now. It's been in the 40's early this week.

I like chaps. Easy on east off. Keep my legs warm on the way to work in the morning. I bought mine at Hotleathers.com

I have a pair from Natl. Leather, think they were $38. The description for mine said they were lined, and they are. They're heavy. I like them; they work pretty good for me in the upper 40s at 55 mph. Don't know about lower temps.

I bought mine from a local pawn shop that keeps them in stock. They are unlined and work for me in my climate. Pawn shops are a great place to find leathers, but usually in the summertime when people need money instead of warmth:smoke

Got my lined chaps at Leatherup.com for about $49. I commmute to work every day and they keep my legs warm and my pants clean. Use them in combination with an armored nylon jacket from Shift (not concerned with style). This time of year, it's in the high 30s/low 40s and foggy and damp when I leave in the morning, and in the sunny low 70s in the afternoon. Usually, I stow the chaps in my pack for the ride home.

I'll second Letherup. Good quality, lined, low price. Bought a set each for the wife and myself. Bought our boots there too, no issues at all.

I bought a pair from Fox Creek fit great but difficult to put on. I thought they would be a easy on.

Got a pair of chap pants. They are a full set of leather pants that go over your regular pants and they really work great.

Don't have to deal with the village people thing either......:roflblack:roflblack:roflblack
