hello, i got some things that are sportster items i want to sell, when i go to the classifieds and try and post them i get some screen that says write an article for the xl forum what am i doing wrong?thanks

i tried to post some things on the classifieds and it said i exceeded the maximum of 5 ads??? why's that limit? I've got a lot of extra parts to get rid of....

Why'd you necro this, it's more than a year old. You could try combining classified ads, i see that often, just sell multiple parts under one ad.

I think they need about 10 to 12 post for picture posting.................

Trying to put an item up for selling in the classifieds, but when I go to the Classified section, I cannot find any button or selection that gives me the option to post. Am I missing something?

It doesn't matter what page # I click on 1-49, I get the same 9 adds. If I change the setting to 18 ads per/page, It works fine?. I have been visiting and always thought there was very little posted for sale. Only because I have my forward control; extensions listed did I realise this. I couldn't find my add, so I started screwing around until I found it!

I get it too. It's so annoying I rarely use the classifieds. I'm pretty sure it's been reported before.

I just went into the classifieds and I think its not doing this anymore. Nothing changed on my computer so maybe it is fixed?

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, maybe you should start from the begining and read some of the reponse members have posted. This section (The Classifields) of the forum needs some work, it's all I'm trying to say. The phase "It Sucks" it's just a figure of speech, again sorry if you (or anyone else) took it personally.

You didn't hurt my feelings at all.
Most of the complaints you are reading here are
a year or more old. The bugs have been ironed out
afaik. I posted an item last week and had no trouble.
So, I'm here to help and if you or anyone has any trouble
posting or navigating in the section then nows the time to speak up.

i tried posting picture for my ad could not get them to take. so i posted them in the ebay and classified section. then i went back and worked with it awhile and figured out the images just needed to be resized. after being on here for over a year. i am beginning to get the hang of it. but for a first time user it can be pretty tough. i think that is why so many adds don't have images. either the section has improved or i have not sure which :)

I dislike the Classified Section. I, PERSONALLY, like having a Classified Forum. That way, it can be bumped and folks who use the "New Posts" Link would see them as they were created / modified. Also, comments on items for sale are fun! :D

that a pic needs to be resized, or where to click to post an ad,etc.
Exactly why I say if an individual doesn't tell us exactly what
trouble they are having then we cannot help.

If I can make a suggestion... when one is trying to sell/buy an item the opposite of resizing a picture is what needs to be done in order for the buyer to see in detail what he/she is buying/selling.
