I can ride my bicycle for two hours at a time and not get a sore butt, but 2 hours on my Mustang wide vintage and I can still feel it the next day. It would probably help if I lost 40 lbs., butt since that probably won't happen, I was thinking about getting a sheepskin cover. I know that Mustang seats are comfy for the majority, so I can't blame the seat. I tried cutting down a bead seat cover made for a car after reading a review about it in a motorcycle magazine: Didn't help.

Anybody had good luck with a sheepskin cover?

Thanks

I've used a sheepskin when I ride my bagger long distance for years now. It keeps yer arse cooler in summer and warmer when it's cold. And it's makes any seat a little more comfy. You can't go wrong, it's money well spent. My girlfriend just bought a sheepskin for around $60 when we were in Colorado, and it's huge. You can cut them down to whatever size you want. Buy it.

The <www.blacksheeptrading.com/mtrcyccov.html> <website> black sheep trading company has processed pelts and will make custom sizes if desired.
I've got one on T.Bagger ('03 Ultra) and wouldn't leave home without it.....
I'm gonna get a pad for Heywood ('05 1200 C) this winter. Keeps your nads and cheeks from "breakin beads".........:banana

I tried a sheepskin on my bike but just couldn't get comfortable on it.........

The sheep kept wrigglein and bucking around when I sat on it..........

So I shot it and ocky strapped it on.......it was much better after that.:)

I had a sheepskin on my CX500. Loved it. Should never have gotten rid of it. When I buy another one, I'm going here: http://www.alaskaleather.com/

The owner Barb is a member of www.advrider.com and seems to be a good person to deal with--I haven't ordered mine yet.

I have a friend that bought a couple of the seat covers from them. He really likes them. I'm thinking about picking one up from them. I'm a BMWMOA member so they will give me a 10% discount. Not sure if they offer HOG members a discount.
