Hi everyone. I'm still sort of new to the forum and I'm having a bit of trouble trying to look up info in old threads, so plse excuse me if this is a dumb question answered somewhere in the archives. I'm new to riding and bought a used (of course if it's an 01 it's used!) Blast that I love. I've looked around alittle for some type of saddle bag, or something similar, for this bike and haven't had any success. Is there such an animal? I think riding weather is done for the year here (Massachusetts), but come next spring I'd like to be able to ride without that stupid fanny pack strapped to my back! Mucho gracias for any info.

Your best bet on that type of ride is stuff for sportbikes.
I have used Nelson Rigg and Joe Rocket. I prefer Joe cause it looks snazzyer.

BTW
If you dont need anything big say purse size I recommend the JR Manta bag.
I ride with a chick who uses one and she really likes it...holds her pistol!

Hopefully Kenny, Dusty Jacket, and Kath see your thread...they all have Blasts...if they don't respond fairly shortly, please send them a private message and I'll bet they'll have some ideas for you! :D

Check the Buell web site. Expensive but they fit right. There are other brands, but you'll need to measure strap length and such.
Saddle bags, and tank bag from Buell:

Also, check out ventura racks and bags. They make a great setup and fits the Blast as well. I may get one for our Blast.

I have the same Buell bags on mine that Dusty has on his. They came with the bike though so not sure where they were bought. I have a different tank bag though. We have a Cortech Super Mini Tankbag (strap mount instead of magnetic mount since the tank is plastic).
The Buell bags are pretty damn small though if I do say so. If you need to carry a decent amount, you might be better off going with some Nelson Rigg bags instead. Since we only use the Buell for short jaunts, they work for our needs though. :)

I had a set of the Chase Harper Stealth Saddlebags on mine when I had it. They worked fine as well.
I got them from MAW at the time, I think they were around $90.00. Course that was in 2001...prices may have changed.

I went for the tailbag by Cortech. Under $80

And it is transferable too.
