So whats with this mod or conversion on the ignition box for a 2004 sporty. I keep hearing about a TC box. Also who can tell me the difference between the 883 and the 1200 SE boxes ? If you were going to do a conversion fron 883 to 1200 would the 1200 SE box be the one to get ? Also is the 6R12 plug pretty much the old standard plug or is there something thats working better that I can get from the parts house

Are you talking about the igniton module that resides under the seat in 04' and newer Sporty's? Its the same module thats used in carb'd 03' and later TC88 motors. If your gonna get an adjustable ignition box, best one to get is the Daytona Twintech model.
http://www.daytona-twintec.com/TC88A.html It allows you to fully adjust rpm cutoff, and your spark curve. Plus if you get the TFCI C link you can hook up the module to your computer and do more fine tuning. Great piece. Worth every penny.
