I have a 2004 XL1200C. It already has the foward controls on them but does anybody know if they make a way to extend those out a little more, like maybe 3" or so. I know they make them for soft tails but i've never seen any for sporters. The problem would be getting around the exhaust. Thanks for any feedback.

Not sure if they'll work on a 2004 (give the company a call) but if they do then you could give these a try:

Kinda spendy for me but I guess it depends on your situation. They extend you out 4" farther than stock.
